Capability and Experience

MOORE YEMEN has successfully conducted many M&E projects and amassed considerable experience as a Third- Party Monitoring Organization with major sized and geographically dispersed projects. Our ability to carry out such projects in emergency situations such as the current conflict in Yemen gives us additional advantages and allows us to contribute in meaningful ways in the implementation of humanitarian and development projects that are critical in the support of the people of Yemen.

We are, for example, currently acting as the Third-Party Monitoring Organization for UNICEF, UNDP and UNOPS Projects in Yemen which are funded by the World Bank and had millions of direct beneficiaries.

Our firm values innovation and incorporates and leverages information technologies into its tools and methods for data collection and analysis. Some of the tools and methods include in-house development of project-specific mobile phone apps for our field enumerators to gather and send the collected data. Data analysis tools include the utilization of NVivo, SPSS and ACL.

Additionally, MOORE YEMEN develops and maintains project-tailored web platforms for each project to present information and key indicators using state-of-the-art visualization technologies such as Tableau.

Such innovative tools and methods have proven to be very useful to the project management units and teams and allowed them to revise and improve design of interventions as well as measure and disseminate the impact of their interventions on the ground.

MOORE YEMEN has an exceptionally seasoned team with broad M&E knowledge. MOORE YEMEN has a pool of local and expat consultants in Monitoring & Evaluation. The team we assemble is geographically diverse and has acquired specific lessons learnt from experience in all accumulate M&E assignments.

The team is led and directed by the managing partner of MOORE YEMEN, Mr. Mohamed AlQubati who is a Fellow of the Certified Charter Accountants (FCCA) and has considerable insight and know-how in all aspects of M&E assignments and has led M&E teams for several humanitarian projects in Yemen. Additionally, MOORE YEMEN partners include Mr. Hesham Alatnah, a certified risk management auditor, who is a holder of the ACCA and CIA certificates and also has significant experience in risk management in all aspects of M&E assignments.

Our acquisition policy gives high consideration for gender balance in our teams, because we recognize the importance of capacity building and development for all individuals equally.

MOORE YEMEN confirms that it has the capacity to cover all the 22 governorates and 333 districts (unless security issues or clashes prevent that), as a rule wherever IPs can implement a project, TPM can reach. MOORE YEMEN covered all Yemen with more than 1,500 professional researcher (52% Female and 48% Male) and 38 Master trainers, MOORE YEMEN has the capacity to increase this team size whenever required.
